These terms apply to visualisation work carried out by Cove Interior ("we", "us"), a sole trader based in South Africa, for a client ("you"). They apply from the point you accept a quote.
We produce visualisations of property interiors, either from photographs of an existing space or from architectural floor plans. The purpose is to help a viewer understand a space — its scale, layout and possible use.
To be explicit about what this is not: we are not interior designers or architects. We do not provide design specification, product sourcing, project management, or advice on what should be built or installed. Our visuals are not architectural drawings, construction documents, or a representation that any particular furniture will be supplied with a property.
We work from the material you supply and reproduce the space as it is: we do not move walls, alter room dimensions, change ceiling heights, improve views, or conceal defects. Where a floor plan is the source, the visualisation reflects the plan as drawn.
You remain responsible for how the images are used in your marketing, and for ensuring your marketing complies with the property advertising rules that apply to you. In most jurisdictions virtually furnished images must be clearly identified as such. We supply files labelled as visualisations for this reason, and you agree not to present them as unedited photographs of a furnished property.
By sending us photographs, floor plans or other material, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them for this purpose, and that you may pass them to us. We use your material only to produce your work and do not pass it to anyone else.
On full payment you receive an unrestricted licence to use the delivered visuals for marketing the property concerned — listings, portals, brochures, boards, social media and print. We retain copyright in the images themselves.
We may want to show your before-and-after in our own portfolio. We will ask you first, and we will not publish anything identifying your property or client without your written agreement.
Every quote includes revision rounds; the number is stated in the quote. A revision means adjusting the delivered visual in response to your feedback — scale, placement, styling, lighting. It does not mean a new visual of a different room or a change of brief, which is new work.
Timelines quoted run from the point we have everything we need from you, not from the date you accept. If you have a launch or listing date, tell us before you accept the quote and we will confirm in writing whether we can meet it.
Our liability in connection with any project is limited to the fee paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales, lost commission or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
This explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and the GDPR where a client is in the EU or UK.
Cove Interior is a property visualisation studio operated as a sole trader in South Africa. For anything relating to your data, contact coveinteriorcustomers@gmail.com.
We do not take card details. If card payment is arranged for a project, it is handled by a payment provider and we never see or store the card number.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information for marketing purposes, and we do not add enquirers to a mailing list.
Project files and correspondence are kept for up to 12 months after a project completes, then deleted. Records we must retain for tax purposes are kept for the period required by law. You can ask us to delete your material sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email coveinteriorcustomers@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in South Africa, to the Information Regulator.
This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. Web fonts and icon files are loaded from a third-party content delivery network, which will see your IP address as part of serving those files. Nothing else about your visit is recorded.
